Creative Audio ControlMatrix - Wall Panels
SCP Control Panel

The SCP is a small general-purpose control panel that interfaces via an RS485 serial link to a central control unit for remote control of system functions. The panel includes Level Control, Level Display and Background Source Selection.

SVC1 and SVC1-20 Speaker Volume Controls

SVC1 and SVC1-20 Paging Speaker Volume Controls are intended for use in conjunction with 'constant voltage' connection paging loudspeakers. Volume can be adjusted by using increment and decrement keys to select taps on an auto-transformer inserted in the feed line to the loudspeaker. A short push of either key will step one volume tapping. If a key is held down, tappings will continue to increment or decrement until the maximum or minimum is reached. Volume is adjustable in six steps, including maximum and off. A LED bar readout indicates the current volume setting.

An RS485 connection to the unit permits remote selection of the level to any setting, and remote over-ride of the local setting (selection of a higher level or muting during paging). The RS485 connection also permits remote interrogation of the unit to determine the current setting.

The SVC1-20 has an internal 20 Watt transformer for use with either 70 Volt or 100 Volt lines, while the SVC1 has connections for use with an external auto-transformer (for higher power applications).

SVC2 Selector and Volume Control

The SVC2 is a wall mounted Paging Speaker Source Selector and Volume Control. It is intended for use in conjunction with 'constant voltage' connection paging loudspeakers, with or without a central management computer system. Source input select buttons select one of four 'constant voltage' inputs. Volume is adjusted by using increment and decrement keys to select taps on an auto-transformer inserted in the feed line to the loudspeaker. A short push of either button will step one volume tapping. If either button button is held down continouous level changes will occur. Volume is adjustable in six steps, including maximum and off.

LEDs within the switch buttons are used to indicate the selected input and an LED bar indicates the current volume setting. An RS485 connection permits remote control of both source selection and volume. This facilitates over-ride of the local settings to permit a standardised level to be used for paging. Remote interrogation of the unit to determine settings is possible via the RS485 port.
